The Exploration Company is a Franco-German aerospace startup building Nyx, a family of reusable spacecraft for missions to low Earth orbit and beyond. In July 2026, Bessemer and Atomico entered advanced talks to co-lead a new round that would value the company near $2 billion, shortly after it opened its first US laboratory.
