Equal1

Equal1 is a Dublin quantum computing startup spun out of University College Dublin in 2017, building rack-mounted silicon-spin quantum computers designed to slot into existing data centre infrastructure rather than requiring dedicated cooling halls. This week ESA installed its Bell-1 system, a six-qubit machine, at the agency's Earth observation centre in Frascati, Italy, to test whether quantum algorithms can speed up processing of real satellite data.
