CriteriaCaixa is the investment arm of Spain's La Caixa banking foundation. This week it rebranded its venture capital unit as Criteria Capital Risc and committed €300 million through 2030 across two funds, one for biotech and health and one for AI, cybersecurity and other deep tech, targeting Spain and Portugal with room to invest elsewhere in Europe and North America.
