Zelestra is a Bilbao-based renewable developer, founded in 2005 as Solarpack, taken private by EQT in 2021 and rebranded in 2024 as it moved beyond solar into storage and hybrid projects. It reports around 1.7 GW in operation or under construction and a pipeline above 19 GW.
In September 2026 it signed what the parties call Germany's largest hybrid solar-plus-storage supply deal with steelmaker Salzgitter Flachstahl: two sites in Brandenburg and Thuringia with 147 MW of solar and 79 MW / 237 MWh of batteries.
