Zealand Pharma is a Copenhagen-area biotech developing peptide medicines. In September 2026 the EMA's CHMP recommended approval of Zeydovio (glepaglutide), its long-acting GLP-2 analogue for short bowel syndrome, after a Phase 3 trial in which 14 per cent of treated patients came off intravenous feeding entirely. A Commission decision is expected by mid-November 2026, and Zealand is seeking a commercial partner.
