Whispp is a Leiden-based Dutch voice-AI startup that raised €5 million in July 2026 to scale on-device voice reconstruction technology, restoring natural-sounding speech for people with impairments such as stuttering or dysarthria. The round was led by LUMO Labs with non-dilutive EIC Accelerator funding. Running its models on-device rather than in the cloud is a deliberate choice given how sensitive real-time speech data is.
