Voodin Blade Technology makes wind turbine blades from laminated wood instead of fibreglass, using a fully automated, mould-free manufacturing process. In July 2026 the German company and three consortium partners secured a €48 million EU Innovation Fund grant to build Spain's first automated wooden blade factory in Navarre.
