Verda, formerly DataCrunch, builds AI infrastructure and data centre capacity out of Helsinki, running its Finnish sites on renewable power. It raised €102.5 million in equity in spring 2026 and a €22 million Nordic Investment Bank loan in July. In September 2026 it became a unicorn with a €164.8 million raise led by Emergence Capital, with Supermicro among the investors, after reporting a €143.85 million annualised revenue run rate.
