Tusk IC

Tusk IC designs Ka-band beamformer integrated circuits in standard CMOS, the chips that let a flat panel antenna steer a satellite link electronically instead of pointing a dish. A 2018 spin-off from KU Leuven's ESAT-MICAS group, based in Antwerp and led since 2025 by former imec Netherlands director Kathleen Philips, it won an ESA Artes contract with Belgian federal support earlier in 2026. A EUR 15 million Series A in September 2026, led by Matterwave Ventures and Forward.one with the Flanders Future Tech Fund, funds the move from prototype to volume production.
