- Floating pilot
- 45 MW AEGEANFLOAT
- Thracian sea project
- 400 MW, target 2030
Terna Energy is an Athens-based renewable developer, founded in 1997 and one of Greece's largest wind operators. It is working on offshore wind in the Aegean, where deep water rules out most fixed foundations.
In October 2026 its AEGEANFLOAT project, three 15 MW turbines on Saitec's concrete floating platforms, won EU Innovation Fund support. The pilot is meant to generate the data Greek permitting needs ahead of a 400 MW Thracian Sea project with Motor Oil targeted for 2030.
