Stark Defence is a Berlin-based drone maker, founded 2024, producing the Virtus loitering munition — a strike drone with a 130km range and up to 90 minutes of flight. In June 2026 it confirmed a €500 million late-stage round co-led by Sequoia Capital and Founders Fund, with the NATO Innovation Fund among backers, valuing it at more than €3.5 billion, roughly triple its previous valuation. Over 80% of the capital goes to R&D and manufacturing, including electronic-warfare research facilities.
