RobCo is a Munich robotics company, spun out of the Technical University of Munich in 2020, that rents industrial robots for machine tending, palletising, dispensing and welding with no upfront cost. It raised a $100 million Series C in January 2026.
In October 2026 it passed a $1 billion valuation in a deal mixing new money with an employee share sale, double its value nine months earlier. CEO Roman Hölzl has moved to the US, its fastest-growing market, and its autonomous robot Alfie launches in Munich on 4 March 2027.
