Revolut is a London-based digital bank and Europe's most valuable fintech, founded in 2015. It spent years working through the UK licensing process before securing a British banking licence, and is now repeating that work in the United States. On 3 September 2026 the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency granted conditional approval to form a US national bank, with approvals from the FDIC and the Federal Reserve still outstanding and a launch targeted for 2027.
In September 2026 Nik Storonsky told Les Echos the company is planning a dual listing in London and New York, no earlier than 2028, targeting $150bn to $200bn. A July secondary priced it near $115bn, up from $75bn the previous November.
