Rebaba is a Stockholm company that builds stationary energy storage out of recovered electric vehicle batteries, sold to EV charging sites, buildings, and industrial users. Founded in 2023 by Paula Runsten and Felix Kruse, it sells the systems as a way to avoid peak-power grid upgrades rather than as a carbon play. In September 2026 it raised $4.6 million in seed funding led by France's Sistafund, with EIT Urban Mobility, Rockstart, and The Blue Minds Company joining, and is starting to sell outside Sweden.
