Pollen builds a universal battery-swapping network for electric mopeds and motorcycles, designed to work across manufacturers rather than locking riders into one brand's stations. Founded in Lisbon in 2024 by ex-Uber Portugal executive Rui Bento and Miguel Morgado, the company runs automated swap stations at Galp fuel stations that run a full diagnostic on every battery returned. It raised €3.2 million in seed funding in July 2026 to expand across more European markets.
