Olix, known as Flux Computing until it rebranded in January 2026, designs optical tensor processing units that run AI inference using light rather than electricity, and drops the high-bandwidth memory that conventional accelerators depend on. The London company raised $312 million in August 2026 at a $3.3 billion valuation, led by Fundomo with participation from Arm, Hudson River Trading, and the UK government's sovereign AI venture fund. That is more than triple the valuation it reached in February, when a $220 million round first took it past $1 billion.
