Next2Sun builds vertical bifacial solar rows that leave space between them for farming. Founded in 2015 in Dillingen, Saarland, it has more than 60 MW built and about 140 staff across Germany, Austria, Poland, and Japan. In October 2026 two subsidiaries filed for self-administered insolvency after a EUR 5 million share offering failed to secure binding commitments; project development continues in a separate entity.
