Founded in San Sebastián in 2019 by Enrique Lizaso, Román Orús, Alfonso Rubio-Manzanares and Sam Mugel, the company sells compressed, edge-ready versions of models from OpenAI, Meta, Microsoft and others to clients including Iberdrola and Bosch. It closed a Series C targeting up to $570 million on 27 July 2026, becoming a unicorn at a €1.5 billion valuation.
