Monava is a Swedish-Finnish defence company split between Stockholm and Helsinki that builds passive acoustic sensors for detecting, tracking and classifying drones. The system emits nothing, which makes it usable in contested airspace where a radar transmitter is a target, and it works in conditions where radar coverage breaks down. Its sensors are deployed across the Nordics and in Ukraine, and in August 2026 it closed a round of roughly EUR 500,000 led by Gungnir Capital with Foundry Ventures and Hede Capital.
