MaiaSpace is the reusable small launcher subsidiary ArianeGroup founded in 2022 at Vernon in Normandy, developing a partially reusable vehicle aimed at the small satellite market Europe currently serves badly. Its 2025 accounts, filed in July 2026, showed a EUR 37.5 million loss that pushed shareholders' equity below zero and forced ArianeGroup to formally decide whether to dissolve it. ArianeGroup decided to keep it, with EUR 114.2 million of cash still on the books, making the question one of mandate rather than solvency.
