Klang

Klang is a Helsingborg company, founded in 2023, that builds software to transcribe, summarise, and analyse business conversations, with its own speech and language models.

In late September 2026 it released Pianissimo, an open Swedish speech-to-text model built on Nvidia's Parakeet that runs on a standard laptop. Klang says it matches the National Library of Sweden's KB Whisper Large on accuracy at about 60 times the speed, a claim not yet independently tested. It raised EUR 1.32 million at a SEK 150 million valuation to expand into the Nordics, Benelux, and DACH.
