JAKA Robotics makes collaborative robot arms and sells into Europe through a German subsidiary. The company is based in Shanghai and competes with the established European cobot makers largely on price. Teradyne Robotics sued its German arm at the Unified Patent Court in Copenhagen in August 2026, alleging infringement of three Universal Robots patents across a broad range of JAKA models sold in Europe.
