Index Ventures is a venture capital firm founded in Geneva in 1996 by Neil Rimer, David Rimer and Giuseppe Zocco, and headquartered in London since 2002 with offices in San Francisco, New York and Geneva. It invests across seed, venture and growth stages in what it calls the ten-hour time zone from Tel Aviv to San Francisco, with AI bets including Anthropic, Physical Intelligence and Fireworks AI.

In July 2026 it closed $2 billion across three vehicles: a $900 million venture fund, a $400 million seed fund, and a $700 million top-up to the growth fund it launched in 2024, lifting deployable capital to $3.5 billion. The raise followed the $32 billion sale of portfolio company Wiz to Alphabet, in which Index held roughly 12%.
