iGii

iGii, formerly Integrated Graphene, grows a three-dimensional porous carbon nanomaterial called Gii at room temperature rather than mining or compounding it. Founded in 2016 and manufacturing in Stirling, it is led by Jean-Christophe Granier and targets multi-analyte sensing, microheaters and flexible printed battery electrodes. In September 2026 it raised GBP 22.7 million, an GBP 11.7 million Series B led by the Scottish National Investment Bank with PXN Ventures and Archangels, plus GBP 11 million from Scottish Enterprise, and plans to grow headcount from 55 to 70 by the end of the year.
