Exclaim Robotics builds autonomous mobile robots that perform routine maintenance inside AI data centres. Its machines navigate a data hall unaided and work the front face of a rack, starting with fibre-optic connectors, network transceivers, copper cabling, and failed drives, with no modification to the building. The Zurich company left stealth in August 2026 with a $4.95 million pre-seed co-led by Founderful and Playfair. Its thesis is that the shift to 800 volt DC distribution inside the rack turns ordinary maintenance into arc-flash work that humans should not be doing.
