Euclyd is an Eindhoven-based AI-chip startup founded in 2024 by former ASML director Bernardo Kastrup and backed by ex-ASML CEO Peter Wennink. It is seeking at least €100 million to scale an inference chip it claims delivers 100x the power efficiency of Nvidia's Vera Rubin — a claim not yet validated at production scale. Its focus on continuous inference workloads rather than episodic training is the strategic bet.
