Einride builds cab-less electric freight vehicles and the software that routes them, operating commercially in Europe and the United States. Founded in Stockholm in 2016 and led by Roozbeh Charli, it put the first cab-less SAE Level 4 truck into daily operation on a German public road in September 2026, moving goods between Lidl sites with no driver or safety operator aboard. The Federal Motor Transport Authority granted the permit, the first of its kind in Germany.
