E4 Computer Engineering

E4 Computer Engineering is an Italian systems integrator based in Scandiano, near Reggio Emilia, building high-performance computing clusters and AI infrastructure for research and industry. Founded in 2002, it is one of the few privately held European firms competing directly with the large American system builders on HPC hardware. In July 2026 the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking signed an €80 million contract with E4, with Dell Technologies as subcontractor, to build MeluXina-AI, an AI-optimised supercomputer that will be hosted by LuxProvide in Luxembourg.
