Cero Generation is a European independent power producer building and operating solar and battery storage projects, established in London by Macquarie's Green Investment Group in 2021 and run since as a standalone portfolio company. Its platform covers 5.8 GW across the UK, Italy, and Spain, of which roughly 2 GW is operational, under construction, or ready to build. Macquarie agreed to sell the business, along with its London, Milan, and Madrid teams, to Qualitas Energy in September 2026.
