Breye Therapeutics is a Copenhagen biotech developing danegaptide, an oral drug meant to stop retinal vessels leaking in early diabetic retinopathy. In September 2026 it closed a EUR 67.5 million Series A co-led by Mission BioCapital and Novo Holdings to take danegaptide into a randomised Phase 2 trial from 2027.
