Ascendis Pharma is a Danish biopharma company that uses its TransCon technology to make drugs that last longer in the body, mainly for rare endocrine diseases. In October 2026 EMA's human medicines committee recommended approval of Yuviwel (navepegritide), a once-weekly treatment for children with achondroplasia. Ascendis expects the Commission's decision by the end of 2026 and plans a first launch in Germany in early 2027.
