Arctic Therapeutics is an Icelandic biotech that picks drug targets from human genetics, founded by geneticist Hakon Hakonarson. Its clinical programmes cover acne and a rare inherited dementia, HCCAA. In October 2026 it raised $21.5 million, led by Icelandic investors and the Danish trial group Sanos, to take two autoimmune candidates toward the clinic.
