Apheris is a Berlin company that runs federated data networks for drug discovery, letting pharmaceutical companies train shared AI models without exposing their proprietary data to each other. In September 2026 it launched an antibody developability consortium with Ginkgo Bioworks' data unit and founding members AbbVie, argenx, Lundbeck, and Takeda, aiming at a 10,000-antibody dataset delivered to members in early 2027.
