AnaCardio is a Stockholm biotech developing AC01, an oral ghrelin receptor agonist that strengthens heart muscle contraction without the arrhythmia risk of conventional inotropes, based on research from Karolinska Institutet. In September 2026 it raised a EUR 62.5 million Series B co-led by Novo Holdings and the Ljungström family office to run a 400-patient Phase 2b in 12 countries.
